EZ Curl
Stand with an EZ curl bar hanging at arms’ length. A narrower grip is more common, but a wider grip will usually allow a greater range of motion, and may feel better on the elbows. Minimizing momentum from the body, curl the bar up as far as possible, then lower under control.
Purpose
The EZ curl trains the biceps and can be loaded heavily both strictly and with intentional cheating. The purpose of the EZ curl bar is to reduce the strain on the elbows common with straight bar curls.
Programming
Generally sets of 5-15 reps are appropriate.
