Medball Adduction Walk

Slowly walk forward while squeezing a medicine ball between the knees and trying to keep the toes turned inward to focus on adductor and internal hip rotator effort. Return to the start by walking backward.

Purpose
The medball adduction walk is a simple hip preparatory exercise to address multiple aspects of hip stability and include the often neglected adductors and internal hip rotators.

Programming
Use 1-3 sets of 10-15 steps forward and backward each.
